The Most Miraculous Survivals In History<br><br>1. Mirko Savic - In 1999, whilst on a flight, Mirko Savic's plane blew up. In the resulting explosion, Mirko was sucked out of the plane and plummeted towards the ground. He landed in a few snow, which saved his life, but his legs were crushed, and he suffered severe injuries to his chest and head. He lived!<br><br>2. Vesna Vulović - In 1972, a Czech airline flight left for Stockholm and Lyon. In the cargo hold, a bomb exploded, causing the entire plane to disintegrate, and everyone on board died, apart from Vesna Vulović. She somehow survived the explosion and the fall from 33,000 feet and sustained no permanent damage from the fall.<br><br>3. Juliane Koepcke - At the tender age of 17, Juliane Koepcke, along with her mother, was on a flight over Peru. The plane unfortunately disintegrated, and Juliane was left strapped into her seat as it fell to the ground. She survived with only minor injuries.<br><br>4. Steven Callahan - Steven was excited to spend over a year sailing around the Caribbean. He had already prepped his boat with food and water, along with other important supplies. The boat, named the "Napoleon Solo," unfortunately sank less than 6 days into the journey. Callahan quickly jumped into his lifeboat, where he survived for over two months before being rescued.<br><br>5. Steven Gustavson - In 2008, Steven Gustavson was in a car accident. The car, which he wasn't even driving, flipped over, and Steven was crushed under the car for 100 minutes. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was resuscitated, and his heart was restarted. He made a full recovery from the accident.<br><br>6. Mauro Prosperi - In 1994, Mauro Prosperi was running the Marathon Des Sables, a grueling race that takes place in the Sahara Desert. He found himself lost and alone with no end in sight. He survived for over a week without food or water, and then he finally found some bats. He drank their blood and ate their flesh. He survived for another 5 days before being rescued.<br><br>7. Aron Ralston - In 2003, Aron Ralston had a bad accident. Aron was climbing when his arm became crushed between two rocks, and he was unable to free himself. He survived for 127 hours with nothing but rainwater to live on. The only way he could have escaped was to cut off his own arm. He cut off his arm and slid down a 60-foot waterfall, where he was eventually rescued.<br><br>8. Harrison Okene - In 2013, Harrison Okene was working on an offshore vessel when it capsized. He found himself trapped in a cabin that was filling with water. For 72 hours, he survived on nothing but water and stale air. He eventually found himself alone, with no one left to save him. He somehow managed to break free and swim to the surface, where he was rescued.<br><br>9. Norman Olsen - In 1981, Norman Olsen was in a car accident. He was crushed by the car, and he couldn't feel anything below his neck. When he got to the hospital, it became obvious that he had broken his neck. The only thing holding his head on was his skin. If he moved at all, he would have certainly become paralyzed for life. In hospital, he was given several surgeries, and he made a full recovery. When asked about his injury, he said "I can't believe I wasn't paralyzed. I'm not sure anyone has survived an injury like mine."<br><br>10. Anna Bågenholm - In 1999, Norwegian skier Anna Bågenholm skied into a steep slope and fell into a hole. She quickly found that she couldn't escape. She was stuck upside down in the hole for over an hour. Her body temperature dropped to 13.7 degrees Celsius (56.7 degrees Fahrenheit). She was rescued and taken to the hospital, where her body temperature was slowly raised. She made a full recovery with no lasting damage at all.<br><br>11. Angelo Hays - In 1937, Angelo Hays got into a bad motorbike accident. He crashed into a lamp post and was crushed. The crash broke almost every bone in his body, caused him to lose a lung, and even paralyzed him. He was expected to die any minute, but he didn't.
