Basically the title. I recently learned that Germany produced less tanks than the UK during the war despite being a dictatorship that was able to fully mobilize its resources.

EDIT: It seems I made a sperm stain by offending some Germans. I did not mean to say the allies didn't contribute a whole lot. I did not say the war was easy. I did not say the allies did not sacrifice much. I did not say that Germany's defeat was obvious. The allies did contribute a lot. The war was not easy. The allies did sacrifice a lot. Germany's defeat was not obvious. I did not say any of that.

The allies were very important in their defeat of Germany. Germany definitely had an advantage at the beginning as they already started to mobilize their economy in 1936. Germany was also advantage in terms of experience and training. In 1939, every high-ranking German commander had 2 years experience in war. In 1939, every high-ranking British commander had 0 years of experience in war. However, despite all these advantages, Germany was heavily outproducing the allies at the beginning of the war. Furthermore, despite all these advantages, the German economy was still producing more consumer goods than the British and American economies. I suppose Germany had many advantages, but the allies still heavily outproduced the Germans and the allies defeated the Germans. Why did this happen?

This thread is not about your sperm stain of a grandfather who died in the war or your sperm stain of a great-grandfather who died in the war. This is not a thread about your sperm stain of an uncle or sperm stain of a grandfather who was conscripted against his will and then died in the war. This thread is not dedicated to your sperm stain of a father who fought sperm stains in the war. This thread is not about your great-grandmother and your great-aunt who had to work in a factory in Germany during the war.

This is a thread about why the allies were able to defeat the Germans despite having so many disadvantages at the beginning of the war, but still won.
