If I give a homeless person my old shoes, will they just sell them instead of using them?

I saw a guy with a cardboard sign on the side of the road and I want to help him. But I feel like if I give him a pair of shoes, he’ll sell them instead of using them and then use the money for drugs or something. I don’t want to enable a bad habit, but at the same time I want to help him have shoes.<br><br>So what do I do, Chambers?
