Our family was randomly picked for a security screening at the security gate in the Lufthansa lounge in Munich airport. My wife was running late so I told them to go ahead and check me and my kid without her.<br>They opened all of our stuff, ran various swabs, and did a pat-down on my kid who had nothing but a water bottle in his backpack. Also my toiletries in my carry-on was checked carefully.<br>My wife showed up and they said she would need to be screened as well and they would call her name in a few minutes. Ten minutes passsed but they hadn’t called her name. So she asked what was going on and they said now she didn’t need to be screened. <br><br><br>Not sure what that was all about but now we get to enjoy our business class flights to Oslo worrying about what mysterious substance might have been on our stuff that triggered a positive reading.
