Demanding a moderate pace is just as bad as demanding a 1:1 adaptation

I would say that a moderate pace means covering a chapter at a moderate pace like one to three chapters per episode and taking an episode every now and then to establish character development. And, y’know, people just don’t like what they don’t like.

In my opinion, the most common example would be season 1 of Reaper of the Scanner, a manga that would have greatly benefited from a moderate pace. In my opinion, season 1 just covers a bit too much material too quickly. It doesn’t do much to flesh out the characters or the world. And the next season doesn’t seem to be doing much better. But has anybody else seen a bunch of fans that want a 1:1 adaptation without character development and a fleshed out world?
