I'm more and more fascinated with worldbuilding the more I learn about it. Fascinating! I want to give it a try but I don't know where to start. What is the more common approach? I know there is a lot of inspiration sources out there and most of them are either in-level story type where you learn about the world as your character learns about it or everything you need to know as a DM is written in a book. So, how do I even start?

Is it the story, the world itself, people, more? It's too much and I'm a complete newbie. I can't even draw well (but what if I were? how would it help?).

What's the best way for me to start with worldbuilding? I don't even know if I'll be good. I'm a complete noob. I love D&D and any other story but I just can't imagine this to be too difficult. I don't even know how I came up with this sub. I just woke up thinking about it.

I want to create the world, the people, the story, etc...

But how?

Any advice is well received. Any sources are more than welcome.

Thank you in advance.
