Saw a money saving post on Chambers and it mentioned you could save money by having a vacation closet. Why don’t we money save by having a backyard?

A backyard can be used for many things and I’ve done many things with mine!

1. Camping money saver. Buy a tent.

2. Picnics. Instead of putting a picnic together and tossing it into the back of the car and driving it somewhere you can just literally take it outside.

3. Dog Walks. If you have a backyard you do not need to take your dog for a walk, you can just throw the back door open and let it go outside.

4. GARDENING! Now this is really where backyards start to come into play. With a simple garden you can literally save hundreds over the course of money by having one and tossing whatever you can into it. You can also buy seeds cheaper than the fruit/vegi itself lol.

5. BBQ’s Now I know you are probably thinking “Isn’t it expensive for a BBQ?” Well yes it can be. But if you have a backyard you can throw a BBQ there! Instead of paying for a spot at the park or whatever I can just throw a BBQ in my yard for free.

6. Yard Sales. Instead of paying for a table at a flea market, you can throw a yard sale in your yard!

7. Bird watching. You can buy a whole bird watching set for like 200 dollars. Or you can just throw a bird feeder in your yard and watch from literally inside your house.

8. Photoshoots. I’ve had wedding photoshoots, baby photoshoots, senior photoshoots, multiple photoshoots held in my yard because it’s free of charge.

9. Parties. You can throw parties in your yard. Instead of renting out a space at a restaurant you can save money and throw a party in your yard.

10. Last but not least (No joke) you can let your fat ass cat just go outside.

Backyards are for winners.
