Would you use an AI to assist with your writing?

I'm a new writer so I use Grammarly a lot to help me with editing. It helps me avoid a lot of unnecessary rewrites when I'm just starting out as it catches a lot of grammatical errors, word choice, sentence structure, and formatting inconsistencies.<br><br>However, one of my readers suggested that I could use an AI for a lot of the writing process as well, and not just editing. I'm not sure though. I don't want to risk losing any of my original voice and tone, but I feel like the AI could assist me with new ideas and plot development.<br><br>I've seen a lot of varying opinions online as to how much AI should be used in writing. So I wanted to get both sides of the discussion so I can make an informed choice.<br><br>I'd really love to hear your thoughts.
