My husband is a "friend" to a lot of women

My husband has lots of "friends" that are women. It seems like everywhere we go, he knows a woman, and it turns out he went to high school with her, or she's a coworker, or whatever, and he's always like, "Oh, Sarah! How have you been?"<br><br>Whenever I ask him about these women, he always says, "I've known Sarah since forever. She's an old buddy."<br><br>It has seemed weird to me before, but yesterday something happened that seems like proof that something is going on. He asked me to pick up something from the drugstore, and when I got there, one of the cashiers was a woman, and he was clearly an old friend of theirs. <br><br>She said, "What brings you in here today?" and I said, "Just getting something for my husband." <br><br>She said, "Oh, he and I go way back," and I said, "Yeah, I've noticed he knows a lot of women."<br><br>She said, "You know how your husband is. He's a total flirt. He's always been a ladies' man," and I said, "Yeah, I know. He's so attractive. I can't blame them."<br><br>She said, "Well, we all used to compete for his attention in high school. But he was always a total gentleman. He was really respectful."<br><br>I said, "Yeah, he's always been great to me," and she said, "I have a feeling he's going to settle down with you. He's really changed."<br><br>What the hell does that mean?<br><br>I'm afraid he's having an affair with one of these women. But I don't know how I would find out for sure, or what I would even do if he is.<br><br>I feel like maybe we need couples counseling, but how would I even bring that up?
