It seems like every post is "I have 100k savings and make 6000$/mo post tax and 3000 house payment and 1000 car loan and 500 car insurance and and aEvt etc etc etc.... can I buy a 5k bike?" And the top 5 replies are like "you could be going hard on a house yea?" "you dont need a 5k bike you dont deserve a 5k bike" "you already spent 2k on a stupid shit this month yea?"

I can't stand the idea of buying a bike and spending money on stupid shit but I think it's a good idea to also put yourself on a budget yea? The idea of budget should be to save money, not cut every piece of enjoyment from life and make things grey and miserable.

I think people that also do the "you make 6000$ and have 100k saved already? Buy another house and live hard" yea ok, buying a bike isn't going to make you homeless. But also yes, you're 25 with 100k saved yea you should consider throwing your money on real estate. But you dont have to remove any piece of joy from your life weaved, yea?
