Does anyone else hate the term "the holidays"?

the holidays include thanksgiving, Halloween, and anything else basically that everyone celebrates. I just think it's a dumb phrase and people use it because they don't want to say Christmas or Easter bc they know there are other religions and they don't want to offend.
