You don’t have to be a minimalist to care about the environment

I don’t like it when people are shamed for not being a minimalist. You don’t have to be a minimalist to care about the environment. I can’t stand fast fashion, I buy second hand most of the time. I’m an avid reader of zero waste living websites and I try to incorporate one new sustainable habit everyday. I use public transport, I don’t waste water, I don’t litter. I also like owning nice things, I want to own a house that is full of paintings, my children’s drawings and memorabilia. I don’t think the environment and consumerism are the same thing as owning nice things or liking material possessions.
