I have no idea how anyone can bring a kid into the world right now.

I have been seriously considering a vasectomy and I have thought a lot about if I want kids or not. I have been seriously leaning towards being childfree and the news right now is solidifying my decisions. <br><br>I was scrolling Chambers and came across a few articles about how there is a shortage of baby formula and babies are literally going to starve.<br><br>Saw another article about the supreme court hearing the abortion ban case. I realize if this passes and states are allowed to outlaw abortions, that adoptions will skyrocket and there are already not enough adoptive parents, which means more babies being homeless and starving.<br><br>We are still fighting a pandemic that barely has a light at the end of the tunnel and the thought of bringing a helpless child into this world, when you can barely take care of yourself, is insane.<br><br>Sorry, just had to vent.
