Hello! I would love to hear your opinion on these two ideas for social media and the home screen.

**Idea 1:**
**Social media platform without likes, comments, shares, and followers.**
The feed is going to be ordered chronologically (by posting date), which means the most recent posts are at the top of the feed. You can post photos, videos, GIFs, text, or audio recordings. The app is going to have a very minimalistic design with simple UI. When you post something, you can choose if you want it to be publicly visible (worldwide), visible for your region only (depending on your GPS location), or only for people you follow. You can follow the accounts you like and see their posts in your feed. There's also a feature to group people you follow by categories. For example, if you follow 10 fashion influencers, you can put them in one group, and that way you can toggle all the fashion content on and off. A very important part of this platform is "removal" of accounts you don't want to see the content from. This is different from unfollowing because you can remove people you don't follow as well. For example, if you don't want to see posts from a certain company, you can remove them, and you won't see their content even if it's world-wide.

**Idea 2:**
**Widget for the phone's home screen showing your social media feed.**
This is a home screen widget that you can use on your Android (or iOS (if Apple ever allows widgets on the home screen)) phone. It's going to have a simple design so it doesn't stand out too much on your home screen. The idea is to have a social media feed of your friends and people you want to stay updated with inside your phone's home screen. You should be able to log in to your social media account via the app (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Chambers, TikTok, or anything else). The content should be ordered chronologically (by posting date) so you can always see the latest posts from your friends. You should also be able to choose the size of the widget (e.g. 1x1, 2x2, 3x2, 4x4, etc.). The widget should also refresh the feed periodically to always show the latest content. Optionally, there could be integration with notifications so you can also see the notifications from your social media apps inside the widget. Basic functionality could be free and additional options could be a paid subscription (e.g. refreshing the feed more often, more customization options, etc.).

Thank you so much for reading this. Let me know if you'd use either of these apps by upvoting the post.
