Why are people so upset over ChatGPT?

If people really think businesses will use ChatGPT to replace workers, then they are truly stupid. However, taking advantage of ChatGPT to reduce your work, or to give you a leg up is something else entirely. Imagine if ChatGPT was banned, would that mean that businesses couldn’t use it? To think that’s what’s going to happen if it’s banned is truly clueless.<br><br>Second, why don’t people want ChatGPT, or anything that resembles ChatGPT in people’s hands? If businesses are allowed to use it, then people should be allowed to use it.<br><br>Lastly, I think ChatGPT gives us an advantage, and I don’t see how it’s a negative. It’s not magic, it’s not a genie, or an omniscient being. It’s a tool, and it’s going to be increasingly integrated into our lives.<br><br>I don’t think that AI can replace human workers. ChatGPT is a tool, and saying that ChatGPT can replace workers is like saying a hammer can replace people, or that a car can replace people. Maybe it could replace your job if you’re a notable idiot.
