I really don't like meal prep. Anyone else feel like this?

I want to hope that you guys get excited to eat your meal prep.<br><br>But I don't because I despise meal prep. I honestly wish I could afford to buy a meal prep service. I like cooking. I like looking at my fridge knowing its full of food that I love. I really love eating food. But I don't like meal prep.<br><br>A nice Monday evening is rubbing my hands together and walking to my kitchen because I just now know what I want to make and its exciting. This is something I have done since I was 10. Its rewarding and fun and I like the idea of being a little spontaneous. This is something I have done since I was 10, I'm now 31.<br><br>I tried to meal prep when I was in college and would get so tired of eating chicken breast. After college, I was so glad that I could stop meal prepping. But when COVID happened and my gym closed, I stopped cooking in bulk and only once or twice a week would I prep a few meals.<br><br>Months later, I went to the gym and honestly didn't feel like I "earned" my workout because I didn't really eat all that much the day before. I had a really rough work out and didn't feel like my normal self. I was really upset so I started meal prepping again. Portions, snacks, and everything. <br><br>I started to gain weight and got bloated. I had so many stomach issues that lasted for months. I thought it was because I was so stressed, and maybe it was, but then I just stopped meal prepping and felt better. My stomach issues went away and I got back to my normal self. I really don't like the idea of eating the same breakfast all week. I like to listen to my body and sometimes I feel like eating a salad for breakfast and sometimes I want fruit or eggs, but I like to listen to my body and know what I want.<br><br>Sorry for the rant. I honestly thought I would get excited to eat my meal prep but I don't and feel meh about it. I know I can change it up but that just kind of sounds like cooking.
