Being chronically late all the time is 100% a choice

Always being late is one of the most selfish things a person can do. Whether it’s overestimating how much they can get done, sleeping in, or just not leaving the house on time, it’s all due to poor time management. And then they use the excuse “everyone runs late sometimes” but no, you choose to be late. This is a chronic choice that you make constantly and it effects everyone around you. If you’re going to be late, tell people you’re going to be 30 minutes late and leave 30 minutes earlier. If you can’t do that, just leave earlier than you already do, or go to bed earlier. Sleep in and leave at your normal hour and you’ll still be late.

It’s not hard to leave 30 minutes earlier than you normally would. If you do, you most likely won’t be late. Or just leave at the time you originally said you were going to.

It’s not hard. Don’t say you’re going to leave your house at 8 and leave at 8:30. LEAVE AT 8:30 AND TELL THEM YOU’RE LEAVING AT 8:30. It’s not hard.

And don’t tell me that you can’t leave earlier because you still will be late. If you leave earlier than you already do, it’s not going to make you later. What the hell kind of logic is that?
