The thread protector is a tiny bit scratched up, but it won't be on your rifle. It's just for shipping.<br><br>* The muzzle brake is a CAA CQR mini brake and has 1/2-28 threads. It has the 3 pronged design inside that will also help protect the end of the barrel from carbon buildup. <br><br>* The CQR Mini Muzzle Brake uses the same CAA SRS proprietary muzzle brake design as our SRS pistol brace, which reduces recoil and muzzle climb. It uses the same 3 prong ports that reduce recoil and muzzle climb with better BKm noise reduction.
