What’s your rule of thumb for help with household chores when a partner/family member gets a new job?

Like extra hours, travel, remote in a different city, etc?<br><br>I’ve heard all sorts of things (starting at 8 extra hours/week and going to 20% of a full-time job’s hours) but I’m wondering if there’s an agreed-upon baseline.
