Anybody can be a good parent, but nobody can be a good single parent

You need two incomes to comfortably provide for one child. Even then, the mother/father has to sacrifice precious time with their child(ren) outside of work to provide for their basic needs. As a result the child is often neglected by the parent. Even when they're home from work, they're often too tired to spend quality time with their child/children. This often results in the child growing up with zero parental guidance, and will often turn to the internet for advice.

In today's capitalist system, you cannot afford to have kids on your own without sacrificing some part of the child/parent relationship.
