If normies don't want people to go NEET, why do they do everything they can to make us feel worthless?

I would gladly have a go at life if I could live like everybody else. But why do I need to be a NEET to enjoy living? I want to be able to walk down the street without being judged. I want to be able to go to a university or a workplace without feeling judged. I want to be able to go to the gym without people wondering why I'm there. I want to be able to be accepted as a peer. I want to want to live. But everybody treats me like complete shit and then wonders why I don't want to go outside.
