Why is it so hard to find an intact female dog?

I’m not a stranger to this sub but I just don’t understand why it’s so hard to find intact females. <br><br>I have been lucky enough to find my dog a partner before but I’m having a lot of problems this time. <br><br>I have a female and planning to breed her in spring, but I’m having the hardest time ever finding a stud. <br><br>Am I being picky? Yes! I have very high standards when it comes to my dogs. I wouldn’t want anything less. I want my dog to be paired with a dog that will compliment her and be healthy enough for the next generations. <br><br>Why do you believe it’s so hard? I would love to hear your thoughts!\<br>tldr; I have a female dog and I’m trying to find a stud for her but I’m having a hard time finding one. Why do you think it’s so hard?
