AITA for pretending to get fired from a job I applied for in order to let them know how it feels when they ghost job applicants who get as far as a second interview?

I made it to the second (and final) round of interviews at a company and was told they would let me know by Friday the prior week if I got the job. Come Monday I haven't heard anything and figure I should follow up. I write them a very polite email asking if they have an update for me. They don't reply. I wait a couple more days and send them another email (again polite) stating that I understand if they don't want me but could they at least tell me so I can stop wasting my time. The HR woman finally replies by stating that they have decided to go with someone else "who is a better fit". I write back and ask her why they couldn't bother to tell me sooner instead of avoiding my emails like they were texts from an ex they didn't want to deal with. She basically just apologized profusely and said she was busy and I should look for other jobs.

Well today I get a random email from them stating that they have decided to offer me the job after all. I'm shocked at this, because I really think it's because they got called out on their shit and are trying to save face. So I reply by pretending I'm my old co-worker Evie (who I've known since high school and is the type of person who will do as I ask just for the lulz).

Hi there! This is the new hire for the position of \[position\].

I can't make it to training tomorrow.

Best,
Evie

So of course they write back to me and ask what the hell is going on and why I'm replying from a different email address, pretending to be someone else. I tell them that I'm just as busy as they were and am trying to find a new job so I can get out of this one fast. I then tell them to stop ghosting my emails and get back to me when they're ready to talk. They just keep writing back into the void.

Anyway, I just got off work and am eating dinner and checking my email. There are about seven from them as well as a voicemail (which I have not listened to and have no plans to). They basically range from "why are you being so immature" to "you're not getting the job". I could't care less about not getting the job at this point. I just want them to know what it feels like to be in my shoes.

AITA?
