bonded pairs

does anyone have any thoughts on getting two dogs of the same breed at the same time...but getting them at the same time so they are littermates? i have only had one dog at a time, but all the rescues i have been getting have been pairs. it is so sweet, but also i dont know if it will be a bonding boundary between my dogs, or if it will be a problem in the long run. did anyone do this and experience any problems? it is so sweet, but i dont know if it will be a long term boundary.
