How to prevent/Tame the urge to switch back to your mother tongue?

I am learning Japanese from 6 months, everything was fine I was learning and progressing well, last day I was watching a video of my crush, and I couldn't maintain my willpower, I switched back to my mother tongue, and I felt so guilty, I regretted it and was planning to uninstall the application (Netflix) but then I saw a show in the recommendation in Japanese dub with English subtitles, I was like maybe now it's time to change your habit, I watched that episode, and I enjoyed it, the next day I was again watching the same video of my crush but this time I watched it till the end in English Subtitles, I felt so proud and happy now, I have so many videos that I haven't watched yet in my mother tongue, but I wanna watch it in Japanese dub now, I know it's gonna be hard to be consistent but I am gonna do it. <br><br><br>I am gonna start watching shows in Japanese with English subtitles and then I am gonna switch to Japanese subtitles, I would love to hear if anyone has already done it, and what's your opinion regarding this topic, please let me know in the comments section below.
