Please don't shoplift from local stores.

I know you see all these videos and whatnot, and you might think that Walmart can take a loss, but the truth is, Walmart doesn't pay their employees shit for a reason. Walmart runs on a very tight budget, and the profits are funneled towards the top. An individual who steals from their local Walmart isn't hurting the CEO, they are hurting their coworkers and the local community. They are also putting pressure on the city council to impose more restrictions on lower income individuals. <br><br>The reason the CEO doesn't care is because they don't make their money from in store purchases; they make their money through investments and real estate. Walmart owns more land than any other organization in the US. <br><br>If you want to help your community, do something more productive. Go door to door and talk about voting out billionaires and large corporations. Support your local farmers and businesses. Educate yourself, and spread your knowledge. An individual who steals is not helping their situation, they are making it worse.<br><br>If you have to shoplift, please don't do it from local stores. Please don't do it from Walmart.
