Elon Musk's Twitter deletes promise not to ban people for "off topic" comments

Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, made the promise in a late-night Twitter post yesterday, to the cheers of his followers. <br><br>According to Musk, Twitter will no longer ban users "even for 'Going off-topic' on someone else's feed". However, there's no official word on when this policy change will be implemented, and Twitter's policies still indicate that violators will be temporarily locked out of their account.<br><br>Going off-topic is listed as one of the violations of Twitter rules for which a user can be temporarily locked out. <br><br>According to Twitter, violators will be temporarily locked out of their account. It can last for 12 hours but can also be permanent.
