I was telling my friend about this chamber and he asked if I was against AI/ML as a whole. I explained that I was against it being used for people without a choice, especially with the consent of not using data for this particular use. I said that in healthcare it's particularly concerning with the use of imaging and how it's being pushed.

He then abruptly interrupted me and said, "But I want all medical records to be available for AI, I want as many people to live as long as possible." I was floored. I asked him, "But do you want them to be used without consent?" He didn't really know. I didn't push it further.

It's an uphill battle. I salute everyone fighting for this cause. There's a long road ahead of us.
