What if Earth actually had a ring system like Saturn?

I've been thinking about this, and I think it would be very interesting. I know it's not possible, at least with our current configuration, but I'd like to hear what you think.<br><br>If Earth had a ring system like Saturn, what do you think would be the main implications?<br><br>Would we be able to see them from Earth? How would the ring system be from space? Would the rings create some "ring shadows" on Earth, like the moon does?<br><br>I know that if Earth had a ring system we wouldn't need any street lighting, but how would it affect agriculture, sea life, climate patterns, etc?<br><br>Do you think the ring system would affect our rotation, our orbit, or how the Sun's light heats the planet?<br><br>Would the ring system affect the orbits of the moon and other satellites?
