So I'm thinking of starting meal prep to improve my health and overall wellness. I'm getting ready to move into my first apartment so there's no better time, but I'm particularly interested in meal prep for the following reasons:

I'm a completely lazy person, I don't want to have to worry about cooking all the time.

I'm on a fixed income for the next two and a half years, so I feel like adhering to a strict diet will keep things more organized (and will undoubtedly save me money).

My diet is shitty. Plain and simple, and I've been seriously overweight for a long time, I'm hoping I can lose a bit of weight.

So all that being said, what are some things you wish you had known before starting meal prep? What are your biggest tips and tricks? I've done a ton of research, but I still get the feeling that I'm not going into this blind, or at least, not as blindly as I could be lol. Thanks in advance for the advice, I really do appreciate it :)
