Am I going crazy or is just everyone into catgirls now?

I swear out of nowhere in the past year I've seen just about every anime related page I visit go from "hey lets watch this anime" to "hey lets watch this anime, i get that you don't like waifus but it has catgirls!!" "i get you don't like waifus but it has catgirls!!" and just all the comments being "omg the catgirl was so cute oh my gosh!!" "i really think we should do a poll to see who is the most popular waifu here, but i bet i know who will win, you know who" <br><br>Its really annoying and i can't seem to find anyone who shares my feelings, its actually starting to make me feel really bad. I already have a really hard time being social so it makes me feel like i'm somehow broken because i'm not completely obsessed with catgirls.<br><br>They're just so annoying i hate seeing them everyhwere, i hate seeing a character i really like do catgirl cosplay, i hate how it seems i can't go to any page without it just being catgirls everywhere, i hate how it seems like every other anime has a catgirl, and i hate seeing a male character being a cat and being treated like the cutest thing in the world. <br><br>I'm not trying to say that catgirls don't have a place, i just i wish that there was more variety in the places that i visit or more depth to the characters. Like i love anime but its frustrating to see the same overplayed character be so popular.
