HyperHyper - An app that uses the phone’s camera to take a super fast and precise automatic panorama photo of a room.

A panorama shot uses a wide-angle lens to try to reproduce a larger-than-usual field of view for a single scene. The phone’s camera is a decent wide-angle lens but even if you try to lock it in a specific position and use the anti-shake feature and timer, it is very difficult to reproduce a perfect panoramic image.<br><br>This app will use a series of images taken at different positions to automatically create a correct panoramic image of the room. The app will note the position and angle, ask the user to move the phone slightly and take another photo until the entire room is covered. The camera is then stabilized and a moment later the processed panoramic image is displayed.<br><br>To match the images, the app is using an algorithm to find common points in the images.<br><br>Edit: Thank you for the great reception you gave me! Never thought you guys will love this app idea so much.<br><br>Edit 2: There are plenty of apps like this already - indeed - but I am not an English native speaker and I didn’t know that the word panorama means what it means :) and I was just trying to name the app. I am not a coder but I am a keen observer of things and I am just writing down all these app ideas I have and the apps that I am missing from the market and I posted them here so that you coders can use them. Many of the ideas I’ve posted already have an app developed around them but if you go and read those posts you will notice that you guys always give me excellent feedback and directions towards the already developed apps or towards better versions of that idea. And that is all I need.<br><br>I am not asking anyone to stop developing an app just because there is an app already doing that. I am asking you to continue developing that app because the market is plenty and there is always room for a better app than the ones we already have.<br><br>Thank you!
