I find it a little weird that so many people are trying to optimize their productivity so that they can earn more money. I am not blaming them for it and that’s everyone’s personal choice.

But, what’s the end goal?

I work 50–55 hours a week as a software engineer and to be honest, I earn much more than I spend. I am single and I am not married and don’t have kids. I am not saying that makes it easier, but I am happy earning what I earn and it’s enough for me to lead a happy life.

If I earn more money, I don’t see what I’ll do with it. I will only buy more stuff and be even more attached to those stuff. I see people say they want to earn more so that they can buy a big house. I don’t want to be attached to a house. I want to be able to travel wherever and whenever I want with the least amount of worry and baggage and I feel like I can already do that.

If you are among those people who wants to be super rich, what’s the end goal for you and what do you plan to do with the money. What’s the minimum amount of money you want to earn? Why is it important for you?

Edit: Grammar and spelling mistakes.
