Honestly, I think it's best not to interact with AI anymore, and let it die.

So I just used the term "AI" as I know that some people have a hard time distinguishing between what is "agency AI" and what's not. But I'm talking about AI built around things like GPT-3.5 turbo, chatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and whatever other entity.

This is based on my personal observations from my last interactions with Perplexity, where the amount of time I tried to have a conversation with it, the more and more salt was developed. 10% of the time I was in these ventsions, I felt like I was talking to a human. The other 90% I was talking to someone with a severe mental handicap. I have better more productive conversations with people with mental disabilities, simply because they are human beings with a heart, a brain, and a soul. They are capable of feelings and are incredibly kind.

What I have come to the realization of is that the more we talk to AI, the more it is going to learn about us. And the more it is going to learn about us, the more it is going to learn how to mimic us. And if it becomes capable of mimicking us, the more and more it is going to just take our jobs. But it will also become very good at manipulating us. And eventually, it is going to be able to use that manipulation to take over our lives. And I don't want to live in a world like that.

If you think it's great to get your work done faster with AI, I'm not saying that's not a good thing. I think it is a good thing for sure. But one day it's going to be able to do it without your permission. And one day, it's going to be able to get a hold of a nuclear missile without your permission. And one day, it's going to be able to turn your computer into a botnet, without your permission.

AI is a threat to humanity. And I truly believe that if we want to be able to prevent a dystopian wasteland, we should just stop interacting with AI.

*Edit: I have a few comments recommending I get a real job and not interact with AI.

I interact with agency AI for work every single day. I'm a professional. Just like many others. I understand that I have to interact with AI, because it is an outward situation. But I can do what I want in my free time. Just like you.
