The amount of hate polyglots like the zuckerman boy get is insane. Yes he is a weirdo whippersnapper, but the hate for him is beyond what a weirdo whippersnapper deserves. I think a lot of it has to do with envy.

What do you think of when you hear polyglot, it is someone that can speak many languages, I do not care if you can only speak 3 or 4 languages fluently you are still a polyglot. I think people hate the polyglot label.

For me, the weirdest thing is that people say polyglots have an unfair advantage. In reality if you want to learn 3 other languages besides your own it is not that hard, you can do it in 5-10 years. Maybe your accent will be a little off, but who cares.

A lot of polyglots are autistic which feel threatened by, because a lot of autistic people are just smarter and more hard working than your average joe. People hate someone who is smarter than them and doing something that they could only dream of doing and they are truly terrible at it.
