How do you feel when a guy has softer hands than you?

I am a mechanic and I recently started dating a guy in medical school. We were holding hands and I found myself jealous of how soft his hands were. I have worked in a man’s world my whole life so I’m used to being judged for being a woman doing a man’s job. But this was the first time I felt judged for being a man in a woman’s body. Does this make sense?<br><br>tl;dr I’m a mechanic and dating a med student. I got jealous over his soft hands.
