It was a big thing for us. She'd laughed off my requests to talk about it for more than a year.

We met in class. By the end of a semester, we were a couple. You know how that works.

Anyway, I had long noticed that she had a phenomenally powerful aura. The aura was hard to explain. I had witnessed a lot of people, men and women both, getting into fights over her, and I had seen a lot of people run away from her. So I figured they're all responding to the aura.

Well, I could see auras, and my aura was a lot brighter and harder to ignore than hers. I was a phenomenal sorcerer. I had the power of shapeshifting, which I could use to change just about anything about myself. My brain, my muscles, my bones, my entire body. I used my power to change my physical form. I could be a dog, I could be a bird. I could be a rock. I could be a tree.

I also had telekinesis, telepathy, the ability to read minds, and precognition. Those were the fundamentals that I used to perform my sorcery. I had a lot of experiences with my powers. I even used my powers for good once.

I was twenty years old, and I had a lot of self control. I wasn't like my father, or my sons. My father was a troublemaker, a thug. He was always getting into fights. My sons were much younger than me, both under five. They were always using their powers to play pranks on each other. They were very innocent boys, and they didn't mean to cause any harm.

I was much more mature than my father and my sons. I could control my powers much better. My powers were very strong, and I was able to use them effectively and responsibly.

It was difficult to control my powers. It was hard to not hurt people. But I was a responsible sorcerer. I cared about my relationship with my girlfriend, and I wanted to make sure that my powers did not interfere with our bond. I was careful with how I used them, and I made sure to be mindful of how they might affect her.

But I think the most important thing I learned was to not let my power consume me. It's easy to get caught up in your own abilities and let them define you. I think I learned a lot from my father about this.

You see, he had a lot of powers, just like my sons. But he let himself get overwhelmed by his abilities. He did selfish things for selfish reasons. He even abandoned us for the most selfish of reasons.

And I think I certainly learned from my sons as well. They have a lot of trouble controlling their powers, but they don't let it get them down. They have a lot of fun using their powers, and they enjoy having them. My oldest is very responsible about them, and my youngest asks me for advice on how to use them effectively.

So that's my story. I hope you found it interesting. I believe I learned a lot from all the people in my life, and I wonder what other lessons I'll learn.

EDIT: This was a flash of dialogue that popped into my head, and I decided to write around it. I did not plan out this story at all. I was just kind of winging it. I hope this explains the direction of this story, and why the conclusion is so abrupt and random. I did not plan for this to be a serious story. I just wanted to write something nice and silly. The story is most definitely not serious. It's all just a bit of fun.
