You've heard of NaNoWiM, and NaNoBloPoM. Now it's time to participate in CritiqueToM! <br><br>Open Critique Competition is for anyone to write a 5 pager story that we can critique.<br><br>If you have a vote gap of 3 or less, your entry is accepted.<br><br>The story can be of any genre. The rules are as below:<br><br>- the story can be of any genre and should be at the least 5 pages long. 1 page = 300 words. (Generally 1000-1500 words.)<br>- The story can be of any type, fantasy, thriller, horror, etc. etc.<br>- You can co-author if you like. (You can't co-author with someone who is already participating in this competition)<br>- There should be no copyright issues and the story should be your original work.<br>- The story should be free of any grammatical errors. We understand that we're human and can't be perfect and we won't disqualify your entry for a small mistake. We're understanding. But please, do not send us a story that is riddled with errors.<br>- The story should be written in any variation of English. (We only speak English, though. So, if it's not in English, we won't be able to critique)<br>- The story should not have been posted anywhere else on Chambers, or elsewhere on the internet. You can post it after the competition is concluded, and buy a drink with the prize money.<br>- The story should not have been entered in any other competition.<br>- You cannot send the story to anyone else while the competition is going on. (You can send it to Beta Readers. but you can't post it on other platforms)<br>- You are responsible for any copyright issues that might arise from the story.<br>- You are not allowed to "steal" anybody's work. (If we find out that you've stolen the work of someone, you'll be banned from this sub for a lifetime. You cannot send someone else's work in your name. You cannot steal from someone and tell us that you're sending it from the original author's name)<br><br>**THE DEADLINE FOR THIS COMPETITION IS OCTOBER 31. 12:00AM PST. (UTC-8)**<br><br>**YOU CAN SEND THE STORY TO THIS ADDRESS:** [email protected]<br><br>**Please follow these rules while sending the story to us.**<br><br>- The Subject Line of the Email should be the name of your story. If the name of your story is "The Dragon's Egg", then the subject line should be "The Dragon's Egg"<br>- The story should be in .docx format. (Docx is a file format that can be opened in Google Docs, Microsoft Word, etc. etc.)<br>- The name of the file should be your username. (If your username is u/HelloWorld, then the name of the file should be u/HelloWorld)<br>- The email body should include your Chambers User ID, Facebook User ID, and a link to your Twitter profile (if you have one).<br>- If you want, you can send us the audio file of your story along with your story. We will make sure to give you the audio critique as well. The audio file should be named the same as the story file. (If you send us your story with the name "HelloWorld", then your audio file's name should also be "HelloWorld")<br>- If you have any notes or a list of things that you want us to specifically critique, then you can send it in the email. This is the final reminder. <br><br>Also, please make sure to send the story at least 2 hours prior to the deadline. We will not accept any stories that get sent to us in the last few minutes.
