CCTV cameras are your friend, not your enemy.

The number one thing you want to know is where cameras are. For obvious reasons most people assume a bad thing about cameras. To me, all I see is a clear path I can take to avoid those cameras. CCTV cameras and security monitors (that you can see) are your best friends.

Walk into a store and walk around, make a note of where cameras are and where monitors are, especially if you can see them as it's more than likely that the monitors will display cameras 1-10.

You're probably thinking that if I walk by a monitor, it will show me walking by and they will see me. This is also another misconception that I think is stupid. What if you're just shopping in that aisle? There's no reason a monitor would show a camera of the cereal aisle getting live updates. These monitors are just for show, to make it seem like there's more cameras than there actually is. I can guarantee that if you walked up and pressed that monitor, it wouldn't do anything. It's literally just for show.

By the way, I've had my fair share of getting caught, getting in trouble, and getting escorted out of a store. I'm just sharing my knowledge, I'm not responsible for anything you do. I don't condone shoplifting and the art of shoplifting. My advice is to not do it, it's not worth it. Stealing bread is a crime and if you get caught, you will get in trouble, or not.
