So I have a pretty good idea of what MGTOW is. I couldn't agree more with the sheer amount of shitty, manipulative, narcissistic behavior that a lot of women display. I've seen a decent amount of Chambers posts over the years, and I don't disagree with a lot of what I've read. <br><br><br>I was in a relationship with a man for 2 years. I begged him for the first year to make plans with me but he always said he was too busy. I got tired of waiting so I took things into my own hands and started planning romantic getaways for us. I would book the hotel, plan the itinerary (he liked art galleries and museums, so I always made sure to include a good amount of those), and I would even bring my violin to play for him in the hotel room or in the park. I would cook for him frequently, surprise him with nice serendipitous gestures (driving him to the beach to see the sunset, even though he sometimes didn't want to go, but would enjoy it once we were there). I would surprise him with little gifts, and always made sure to cater to his taste when it came to buying him things. <br><br><br>I never asked him for money, I never expected him to give me money, and we even split the bills for everything, although sometimes he would pay for everything. <br><br><br>After the relationship ended, I started dating again. I have some criteria that I really value in a partner, and that is kindess and generosity. I don't care if the person is broke or not, as long as they're kind hearted and generous in their actions and in their time. <br><br><br>I've been hurt pretty badly my last ex, and I would really love to meet someone who values kindness and generosity. I have been going on a few dates in the past month, but I haven't met anyone like that yet. <br><br><br>I really wish there was a dating site for decent human beings. Not shallow people who care about looks or status or whatever. I just wish there was a way to find people who are genuinely kind and empathetic, because I feel like I've been jerked around for far too long. <br><br><br>TLDR: I am a woman, I see a lot of what you guys are talking about and I agree it is fucked up. Would like to meet someone who is kind, generous and decent.
