They are Socially Conditioning Us to Order Takeout/Food Delivery Everyday

We have all seen it. Commercials on TV, or your FB feed, Instagram, etc. At least once-week. Telling you to order in. Order from this company or that company. "We will give you a coupon. We care about you watching your finances and will make your life better with this coupon."<br><br>"Why cook, when you can let someone do it for you?"<br><br>"No more grocery shopping to eat a healthy meal. Get a healthy meal delivered right to your door!"<br><br>"Why even eat in a restaurant? Order delivery and eat in the comfort of your home."<br><br>Etc. There are a TON of them out there.<br><br>We all try to do our part for the economy, and if we are gonna order in, watching our budgets, we try to eat at the local establishments.<br><br>Every single company is just telling us over and over and over again not to do this anymore.<br><br>We are FOIA-ed to order Online. OPen this app and order this. We might just throw a coupon at you. You won't even need to leave home.<br><br>I can see this. And it is only getting worse. Your 10 years ago, what percent of people ordered in everyday?<br><br>I bet you it is 4-5x that percentage now and I don't have a number.<br><br>"They" want us to stop eating at restaurants and ordering from small businesses.<br><br>"They" do not want you cooking out of the ingredients you purchase at a grocery store.<br><br>"They" want to depersonalize our lives and turn us into robots waiting for the next delivery.<br><br>"They" do not want us out Socializing and to just eat out of a box.
