Wanted to try a new recipe, but ended up with a new face mask instead

So I just tried to make homemade hummus as a snack for the week, but it did not turn out right. I looked up a few recipes and saw that they all had similar ingredients like chickpeas, lemon juice, garlic, tahini, and olive oil.

I put them all in the blender and started to mix until everything was nice and smooth. But then I realized that the taste was not quite right.

I added more lemon juice, garlic, salt, and tahini, but I still got a weird taste. I didn’t have any cumin or cilantro, so I decided to call it a day and just move on.

I stored the hummus in the fridge and went to bed, planning to try another recipe the next day. But when I woke up the next morning, my skin was really dry. I put on a moisturizer and went about my day.

Later on, I decided to give the hummus another try. I added some more ingredients, but it still didn’t taste right. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it.

When I got home from work, I had the same dry skin issue again. I put on a face mask and went to bed.

I woke up this morning, and while I still have a little bit of dry skin, it’s not as bad as it was yesterday. But then I realized that I have been using the same blender to make my breakfast smoothies!

So, the hummus is not actually hummus. It's a face mask that I accidentally put on my face.

Has anyone else ever had a similar experience with a recipe turning out wrong? Or is it just me? Haha!
