The "shut down the NFL" movement is a waste of time.

I love football, but the NFL is now a pariah because of the kneeling controversy. I see tons of people on Facebook and Twitter saying they will "never watch football again" because of this. They're being ridiculous.<br><br>I think the NFL is a horrible, greedy, capitalist organization that doesn't care about anything but money. But, I love the actual sport of football. It's an entertaining game and I will continue to watch it with my friends and support my favorite team.<br><br>If you don't like that, that's your prerogative, but don't tell me what I can and can't do, because I'm a man and I don't take orders. If you don't like the NFL because of this, then maybe you're a "fan" of the wrong sport, because this is a non-issue for me and many others.<br><br>Edit: Someone said I that I'm disrespecting veterans with my opinion. I am a veteran. I served this nation and I can do what I goddamn please, including watch football.
