I work in a job that requires me to read a lot of Facebook posts all the time. It was all fine and dandy until I realized that Facebook is always pushing me towards darker things. Facebook really really sucks.<br><br>Part of my job involves following a few paranormal influencers, and while I started out reading about haunted buildings, some time ago I started to see a lot of posts about shadow people and sleep paralysis. I'm not really interested in that stuff, but I know that the Facebook algorithm wants me to see it. It wants to show me the other side of life.<br><br>I remember a time when Facebook used to show us posts from family and friends. That's how Facebook made me feel at that point. Facebook is like an imaginary friend who shows you the darker side of life.<br><br>That's why today I switched to Chambers's "night mode." It makes it easier to read things on my computer at night.<br><br>I hope that Facebook will realize one day that most people don't want to see this stuff.
