Best way to automate a task?

I would like to automate a task. Anybody done this before? Would like to automate something, but I'm not sure which way to go. <br><br>I need to automate some tasks that can be complicated for beginners, but easy for people with more coding experience. <br><br>Any beginner friendly tools to use for something like this? <br><br>Thanks
