Why do women want a man that's liked a lot by other women?

I'm getting over a year long relationship with my ex, who was in another relationship when we met (she was also lying and telling me she wasn't). She also was having sex with multiple guys at the time, and always wanted a guy who had a high attraction from other women. <br><br>I don't understand, would it not be the male equivalent of when a woman is cheated on by a man and feels like she's incomplete, not a full woman, because she's not good enough? <br><br>For the last 18 months I've been trying to focus on myself, and get over this whole mind fuck I've experienced. One day I might be able to be in a relationship. But I'd rather be single to a partner who doesn't want a man's validation.
