Why is it important to men in society that women be thin?

Disclaimer: I have anorexia nervosa. I am not saying that I am some beauty standard, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with women if they’re overweight or obese—it is a personal choice. I have always felt that there is some sort of “incele” conspiracy forcing women to be unhealthily thin. Every advertisement, every magazine, every store, every commercial, every fucking thing imaginable is designed to make them feel inadequate and self-conscious about their body. That’s why there are so many commercials for diets and diet pills. It’s so they can convince women to buy into this insane conspiracy to control them—make them feel weak. And it’s working. That’s why there are so many women with eating disorders and why so many women are weak, all because of the fucking patriarchy.
