Dear Americans - your flights are delayed because your government refused to invest a few billion dollars to replace the air traffic control system. If you flights are delayed, you should be angry at your politicians. -A Canadian

I’ve been out sitting on my deck, listening to the planes fly by all day as I always do on weekends. In the last 30 minutes I’ve heard five messages from five different flights saying the air traffic control system is down and it’s a world wide issue. This is the third time in a year, and it’s getting to be honestly egregious. <br><br>You can’t tell me that investing $5 billion or $10 billion a year for the next 5 years wouldn’t completely modernize that system in North America, and likely the world. <br><br>Now all the Conservative Americans are going to say “how do we pay for it” — well either pay for it with a tax increase, or just print the money and run a higher deficit. <br><br>I am tired of the Conservative mindset that the government is always too expensive, the government can’t do anything right, and then the government is somehow responsible for all of society’s ills. <br><br>Just get your shit together, because you’re messing up the world.
