Just got out of a family dinner and I need to vent

My cousin (20f) was talking about how she's been using miscarriage spells to try and terminate her pregnancy (5 months) and she has been flirting with the idea of abortion ever since it was too late. It is her third pregnancy and she has 2 other children (2 years and 6 months). My aunt (her mother) was calm about it, my mother flipped. My mother had 4 miscarriages (1 before me and 3 in between me and my brother). My aunt had 3 miscarriages between my cousin's two pregnancies.<br><br>Anyways, my mother was upset and told my cousin that she shouldn't be using these spells and miscarriage is not abortion, it was a traumatic experience and miscarriage spells would be the same thing. It was just a very weird conversation.
