27M, IT guy, been working 60-80 hour weeks and making 70k. Especially in this climate, should I also start looking for a new job?

Hi all,

Thanks for checking out my post. I'm an IT guy. I've been working 60-80 hour weeks for the past couple years (still do) and my salary is 70k. I'm really just looking for some perspectives here. I don't know if I'm just being paranoid, but I don't think I'm extremely valued because of the layoffs that are happening.

I'm curious if I should be looking for a new job just in case mine gets cut? I like my job, but I'm finding myself working a ton of hours (even on weekends/vacations). Also, the company is struggling. I have opportunities to work in the field I want to be in, but it's 12 hour shifts and holidays. I'm just so tired of working so much. I'm not sure what to do here. Thanks in advance for any advice.
